Israeli Blog Love via Audio Camp
Audio Camp is a really cool blog from Israel that shared our album Tombs! Thanks Audio Camp we appreciate it!!!!
"Since forming, the members of Asheville's Doc Aquatic have carved a nice niche for themselves. Filtering classic rock influences through a bohemian perspective, the band's infectious sound is rooted in the past and the present --- with buoyant indie rock sensibilities working in tandem with hard driving psychedelic grooves." Doc Aquatic review on Australian blog!
Sounds Better With Reverb is an Australian blog that loves their echo/reverb! We are super excited that SBWR thought so highly of our music. This is the first Australian blog to review our record and hopefully the beginning of more blog love from all over the world. The internet is cray cray!!!! Follow the link and check out the article from SBWR. The psychedelic photo was taken by Thrashe Ville at the Mothlight from 11/15/13 and is awesome!

Oct. 27th @ Boone Saloon, Nov. 3rd @ LAB

Hello Everyone,
It is a beautiful day here in Asheville. A great front porch/proper chair/a little smoke all equals up to almost paradise. Today's blog concerns an upcoming gig at the Lexington Avenue Brewery's back venue/bar. A total of four bands will be playing making this a thursday night worth spending out. Both local and national touring acts will be performing!
The Bands:
Doc Aquatic
The Enemy Lovers
Winter Sounds
Rocketboys
Tomorrow we are heading back to Boone-town to the Boone Saloon where we will be performing along side with our dearest friends the Mumbles! The Mumbles have been beside us from the beginning days of Doc, so its always good to see them when their tour stops by NC. Boone also is Doc Aquatic's old hometown before moving down to Asheville, so I will go ahead and say Go Mountaineers!!!
Hope to see everyone out at the show...

Recording Session @ Hillcreek Studios
Great space with a real rustic feel. Sort of brought the feeling of the Band's Big Pink only this studio is inside a renovated barn instead of a "Big Pink" house.
We had a great session, and did the Local Color radio show!! We even knocked out several scratch takes for our next ep.

We recently had a gig in Atlanta in the vibrant Little Five Points part of town at a venue called The Five Spot. The show went really well and we were able to see some friends we haven't seen in a while. Besides that the highlight of the trip was the breakfast we enjoyed at the famous Silver Skillet. Hungover and running on little sleep we prepared for the long haul back to Asheville with hefty portions of greasy breakfast food and way too much coffee. Here is a pic of Charles and I deciding what to order and learning Silver Skillet facts such as....Val Kilmer filmed a scene for a movie there because the decor hasn't changed much since the 50s when it opened....Dave Chapelle (one of our fav comedians) has eaten there....TLC filmed their last music video there(wow!!!! heavy shit!!!!)....the list of cool facts could go on but those will do I reckon.
