We had a blast rocking out the last Bele Chere festival ever!  Bele Chere was a festival Asheville started throwing 35 years ago...crazyness!  We performed an hour long set on Sunday, July 28th at 3pm on the Coxe Avenue stage.  It felt great being one of the last bands ever to play the festival.  The Mountain Xpress' Alli Marshall wrote a very kind and flattering article about Doc Aquatic and John Zara captured some sweet photographs; if you follow the link above you can check it out. Big ups to Charles' mustache!!!!

Oct. 27th @ Boone Saloon, Nov. 3rd @ LAB

Hello Everyone,

It is a beautiful day here in Asheville. A great front porch/proper chair/a little smoke all equals up to almost paradise. Today's blog concerns an upcoming gig at the Lexington Avenue Brewery's back venue/bar. A total of four bands will be playing making this a thursday night worth spending out. Both local and national touring acts will be performing!

Tomorrow we are heading back to Boone-town to the Boone Saloon where we will be performing along side with our dearest friends the Mumbles! The Mumbles have been beside us from the beginning days of Doc, so its always good to see them when their tour stops by NC. Boone also is Doc Aquatic's old hometown before moving down to Asheville, so I will go ahead and say Go Mountaineers!!!

New Songs are on the WAY

Here is a recent shot by Matt Grahm @ the Soapbox in Wilmington, NC.

Super fun show with alot of great friends in attendance; swimming in the ocean before hand wasn't too shabby either.

We have a show at Highland Brewery's taproom this Friday from 6-8, please come out early to support local beer and music all at the same time.
